We’re veterans just like you who care about America, veterans and their families and our nation’s youth. The Legion is a powerful voice in Washington dedicated to preserving the rights we’ve all earned - and were promised - by our service to the nation we love.

The Florida American Legion is always there for you and your family - whether it is when we lobby in Washington or at our 300+ local American Legion Posts throughout Florida. Just like you, we’re “Still Serving America!”.

Still Serving America

Membership in the American Legion offers many benefits that include involvement in community programs, a voice in Washington DC, investment in children activities, education, and camaraderie. Of course, our main focus is for veteran’s rights and their families. Which is why we continue to lobby in Washington for veterans, current service men and women, and Americanism. The American Legion is the largest veteran’s organization.

The American Legion also offers Member Discount and Benefits through our National Organization: Insurance and Health Services, Financial Services, Travel Discounts, Moving and Home Discounts including Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Dell Computers, Days Inn, Budget Rent a Car, and many more.

The involvement in the Pennsylvania American Legion can mean many things to many Legionnaires. The Programs, Committees, and Events that we are involved in is as diverse as: politics and Legislative concerns, Children and Youth programs, Community Service, Legion Baseball, and being involved in the solution for Homeless Veterans.

What does membership in The American Legion mean? Membership in The American Legion is membership in America. "Get Involved" is our motto. It is also the primary reason why more and more dedicated veterans continue to devote their lives to their country. It is the background of involvement that creates and supports the feeling of camaraderie which makes The American Legion the nation's largest and fastest growing organization of wartime veterans. Membership is the livelihood of The American Legion. Without the members there would be no Legion programs. Without members we would have no voice on Capitol Hill. Without members there would be no accomplishment in assistance and support to veterans, their families, the community, state and nation. We must offer every eligible veteran the opportunity to be a part of this great organization.
